2nd post, to talk about something solid

today, i just happened to see an old advertisement, about some lousy slimming product(yes i mean lousy, LOUSY!!!!!!)
its the one that shows a bunch of fatplump people being order by an equally fat coach to keep exercising to slim down, then a relatively slim person sauntered in with a radio and ,obviously, the slimming product
first, i have to say, i DESPISE THIS ADVERTISEMENT AND THE PERSON WHO THOUGHT OF IT, ALONG WITH THE COMPANY, SO PLEASE BOYCOTT THE PRODUCT
second, of course, the reasons for that, one word, moral etiquette, or the lack of it
is there supposed to be a law that states you cannot attack a brand of product, thus they often shows product X compared to the company's product(however similiar product X is to the rival product)
and that law is to prevent ungentlemanly mudslinging between the companies
although technically the exercise routine isnt a brand, but it IS the most recommanded way to slim down by doctors and professional, the best, healthy and effective way to slim down
YET, the advertisement in question is attacking the correct way to slim down by protraying the way as ineffective(the people wont be shown as fatplump otherwise, and made it seems torturous, a redundant thing compared to the product
absolutely a good and wonderful way to advertise your product by attacking the correct way to slim down, it gave me a warm fuzzy feeling knowing that such advertisement can get through the censors and even be thought of at the first place, such wonder of human nature, honorable way that may cause some weak-willed individuals to give up the right way and seek the dark side product, an effective advertisement
